With over 20 years of teaching experience, Achiko “SaGa” has passionately shared the art of Salsa on 1 (L.A. style), Salsa on 2 (N.Y. style), Bachata, Kizomba, and ballroom dance at Rutgers University, Arthur Murray, and now at SaGa Dancers Studio in East Hanover, NJ

Satomi Montague

Satomi Montague started learning Jazz and Ballet at the age of 9 in her native Niigata, Japan. After she moved to the U.S, she began learning many styles of dance including Flamenco, International Standard and Latin Ballroom, Hustle, and Salsa/Mambo. She trained with Eddie Toress, the Mambo King, whose specialty is “On 2” dancing New York Style. She learned Flamenco from Nelida Tirado from New York and studied with La Cina and Pilar Ortega in Spain. In 2005, she received a scholarship of classic and regional Spanish dancing from American Bolero Dance Company in New York. She has performed throughout New York/New Jersey in various groups and her great dance partners with Sonny Allen the last of the world’s famous Ballroom Harvest Ball Lindy Hop Champion, Roberto Pagan the World Hustle Champion, and Franck Muhel the “fastest feet” most energetic dancer. She loves dancing because the fun of it is a good addition to her life. Her goal is always to improve her dancing by adding new skills, performing and sharing happiness with others.
